I have owned & used the Sweetpeace for a tiny over months now, waiting to write a review until I got to know fisher-price papasan cradle swing well.

To start with, the professionals:

I have a ten-year-old son. When I entered the marketplace for kid products one time again in 2008, I was amazed at how much more complicated things were. When a simple, battery powered open-top swing was the best you could get in 1998, a ""Soothing Center"" that promised everything next to changing the baby's diaper was on the market now! I was cynical about fisher-price papasan cradle swing all, but must admit that lots of of the features on this fisher-price papasan cradle swing claimed to make improvements to issues that I recalled learning by trial & error with kid #1 could use improvement. I decided to try fisher-price papasan cradle swing out as the large nicety of my kid gear shopping.

~ To address other reviews, I listen to no difference between the motor noise on this & what I keep in mind my battery powered Graco open-top swing sounding like. If fisher-price papasan cradle swing makes use of electricity, it will make some type of sound. Perhaps varying factors could affect this, I don't know, but mine is silent.

~ I find the music/white noise sounds to be wonderful; rich in sound with respectable variation in choice. Somebody mentioned as a con to this fisher-price papasan cradle swing that ""Flight of the Bumblebee"" of the song choices) was not a soothing song.
